by: Eka.

Today I want to share one of my favorite founds from Pinterest.

You know how difficult it is to create a neat bias tape without the right tool? Purchasing ready make bias tape or most people here call it as "bisban" will only limit your option to the plain ones. If you want to make personalized bias tape with unique pattern, you will need this bias tape maker for exact measurement.

Unfortunately, I think this bias tape maker is too expensive. If you have similar opinion, here are some valuable DIY bias tape maker tutorials you can make at home.

The first one if this folding template. All you need to do is just downloading the folding template and you will have advantageous measurement for your fabric folding-related project.

You can also use this method below to create your own perfectly measured bias tape. The printable bias tape maker will make your projects which involves bias tape become an enjoyable thing to do.

There is also the double-fold bias tape, which is incredibly useful for binding and finishing edges you can find there.

The Scientific Seamstress blog has many other printable patterns and idea which will make your sewing projects easier to do.

I'm glad to find this blog on Pinterest. Without this genius pattern maker, I will probably still working on my saving to add the expensive bias tape maker into my sewing notion. Phew!

Red Telephone Box Door Tutorial

It is so nice to be surrounded by creative people; being inspired and motivated to make a better and more beautiful environment.

That is why; this blog post features one of our most creative friends who (unfortunately) doesn't have a blog yet to spread her creative works.

So without further ado, let me introduce you to Bunga Yuniasari, a 27 years old civil engineer.

Bunga was our high school friend with charming personality and creative traits. We haven't got much chance to enjoy her works until she shared a picture of her latest project, Red Telephone Box Door on her Facebook.

So we begged her to share the tutorial here to learn on the process and be inspired with overflowing ideas for this project.

This is what she said about her project:

"London is one of my favorite European cities. I love their architectural designs, cultures, arts with complicated details, and other uniqueness."

And since her nieces love One Direction which happen to be one of the Brit…

About La-conchita

Starting from our mutual interest in crafts, beautiful things and social activities, we -Tata and Eka, two best friends for more than 12 years, started this blog as the place to update our last project and share interesting things as a part of our hobbies.

But apparently, sharing the projects and our work results just between us is not enough. It will be a shame to enjoy the excitements and satisfactions of getting inspirations, doing and finishing our projects just inside our circle.

So we decided to enlarge the circle to the public by giving the chance of participating in our projects and donation programs.

You can do it by donating your unused stuff here.
Or purchasing our new products, preloved products and other products.

With love,
